Haley Lasché has her MFA from Hamline University. Her poems and essays have appeared and are forthcoming in lit mags, anthologies and Web sites such White Space, Poemeleon, The Crab Creek Review, Dossier Journal, etc. In addition to being a writer, she is a college instructor and yogini.
Haley began her yoga practice in a church basement in 1993. Here she studied the mystical qualities of prana. In 2000 she began her asana practice by taking Iyengar classes and exploring her strength and the alignment of her stretches. Nine years later, she did her first chaturanga and platzed over the amazing energy these two elements created when combined. Now, Haley primarily practices Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles, though she is always changing. She completed her 230 hour Teacher Training in March of 2013.
